A Regular Morning

Every morning I have to get up early and do chores.
First, I feed Chestnut, our dog and give him water. He eats fast.
Yum Um!
Then, I walk down a short path next to the house to my to-be rabbitry to feed my adorably bunny, BUTTON
This is my double decker hutch!

I always get a leaf before pellets!

Then I go behind the house to the chicks, get feed from the shed, water from the pump, with the goats mmaaaing in the background. Open the doors and watch them for a while.
My view of the chick/chicken house.

The goat shed.

Rush Rush Rush out!

Eat Eat Eat Eat!

Then I go to the goat shed and let Star and our new baby goat out!
Then, I take them on a walk in the yard. Star loves the apple tree leaves!

Mm! Poison Ivy!

I also let the chickens out for a while.

Baby goat.

Nothing better than a nice lie down in the shade!

Then, of course we milk Star.
Here is a blog that I like:

Update and Busy Day

Life has been very busy here.
The new goat, and other things.
All of our berries are ripening. We have like, millions of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, black raspberries, but sadly, the strawberries are gone.

I love sunning myself!

This is what our apples looked like a couple of months ago! It's hard to believe that all those apples and this huge tree all fit in a small little seed! Only God could have done, THAT!!!!

A mouses view. Mouse: " That is a huge cat! Ahh!"
Other things are ripening too. The peaches for instance they are growing and are about the size of a well, I don't know. Smaller than a tennis ball, and bigger than a ping pong ball. Our snap peas are basically done with. My watermelon plant is growing rapidly. So much life!

Our New Goat!

Hello!
This post is about our new goat Star.
She is a milking goat and loves attention!
I love sumac trees!

Hello?

You like my new collar and leash?
We milked for the first time yesterday! It is really a lot easier than it looks!

First, you wash the udder with warmish hot water to get the hair and stuff off. Then, it's like this, it's kind of like a trapping and releasing system. You close your thumb and pointer finger around the top of the teat. Then, you squeeze the rest of the fingers around starting from the top to the bottom. Then you let it loose to let more milk come into the teat. It's that easy! After that you get the milk cold as fast as you can.
I hope you like this post!

GOATS!!!!

We are getting goats.
I'm really excited and I want share some of what we are doing.
We cleared out our old shed that we had recently been using for storage. It has taken a week or two and here is the almost finished product.
This is the small pen we built off the sleeping area.
Where the gate will go.

Where the milking stand and hay will go.
Door to the sleeping area.

I love goats.
We will be putting in 4 other pastures in the areas where the poison ivy and other things have taken over. They LOVE poison ivy!!
