6 Weeks Old!!!!

This is Tuki...

My chicks are going to be 6 weeks old tomorrow!!!!
These are some pictures of them, while they were weeks 4, 5, and 6.
They are getting so huge! I bought them another heat lamp, because it is getting real cold now.
Week 4
And want to get out!

They are so big!!!!

They have pretty much all of their feathers.

I nick-named this one "Big Guy"
Week 5

We built a fence so the chicks could run around and play!

They really want out.

We will cut a door in the chick house wall and put a ramp down,

 Week 6
(Today)
I put them out so that we could work in their home.

It's a big pen.

There's the ramp.

They love digging around in the chicken house.

Here is the new feeder.

Oreo's curious.

Sukkot

Sukkot.
Sukkot is one of God's holidays, also known as, The Feast Of Tabernacles. Where usually, you built a little (or very large) shelter:

That you would live in for a week. So we built that, though we aren't sleeping in it, because it gets very cold here at night now, since it is October. I am going to decorate it with lights and flowers and such. We will eat in the Sukka though.

We put a bamboo roof!

Chicks, Day 27!
I put pine shavings in today, more, about 3 in deep. And I added another heat lamp, because it gets cold at night. They are all warm and cozy I think, and they can fly so high!
They all are so used to me, they love to fly on me and perch on me. Still no perch.
( It's really actually dark)

I had to change the feed.

Two heat lamps.

I nicknamed him, or her, "Big Guy" she doesn't like being off the ground with out ground under her feet.

Lawnmower races and Chicks

We just had a Wilkes County Public Fair, and we went to the Lawnmower races, they put motorcycle engines in a lawnmower. It was exciting.

Now my chicks:
Day 18
I put down pine bedding. The chicks started getting out so I removed the draft guard and put newspaper down. They love it! They are getting so big!
I also recently put up plastic on the windows to keep it warmer and dry.

Day 14, all of these
